Bruce Deck just turned 80 years old and started donating blood over 60 years ago. He has over 20 gallons of whole blood to his credit.
He started donating when he learned that a person in a hospital needed a transfusion right away. He went directly to the hospital and had blood transfused directly from his arm into the patients.
