Tacoma Community College’s (TCC) Student Life Office sponsors three outstanding drives each school year. Due to the large number of donors, they hold two-day blood drives in order to make it more convenient for students and staff who donate. Thank you to Jennifer Manley, our blood drive coordinator, TCC’s Student Life staff, and everyone at TCC who help make these drives so successful.

Ruth Kao took on the responsibilities of being the drive coordinator for Tacoma Community College’s first drive of the new school year. Ruth did a great job of getting the word out to the students and helped make this one of the largest drives in recent years. TCC exceeded their goal of 60, by registering 62 donors.
The units collected at this drive with Cascade Regional Blood Services, will help support our community blood supply and patients who are in need of life saving transfusions in our area hospitals. Thanks to Ruth, TCC and the many students and staff who took time to donate.
